I think you really start to feel your age when you think about what's on your birthday wishlist for a given year. I've been thinking about this a lot because my own 23rd is coming up on October 30th! Two weeks from today!
Between the ages of about 5 and 15, my list always began like this:
I honestly cannot explain to you why I wanted a minifridge when we had a perfectly good refrigerator in the kitchen. Anyways, I never got any of the above.
Meanwhile this year, with my sweet #1 making messes of my apartment, my list looks very different. I know I'm a "grown up" (or at least, becoming one) because the following things have made it on the list:
Real kitchen tools. But in fun colors.
A proper vacuum cleaner --
who knew they were so expensive?!
These will probably work better than plastic ones, right?
On the somewhat less practical side, but still feeling like a grown-up:
A chic passport case to make travel more fun...
Real ART! I'm obsessed with Elizabeth Mayville.
A possible gift to myself? I've been bidding on LV luggage on eBay.
But some thing never change. The kid in me will always be present...
A pair of comfy slippers never gets old.
Lipstick is loved by girls of all ages...
This side table is so whimsical and cute!
What do you have on your wishlist this year? Anything kid-like that you'll never grow out of?
